      Dear Bethyboo,
To describe the inside of the heart is very difficult. The best thing i can suggest is to google images of ‘inside the heart’
The heart has four chambers where blood flows into and fills up. Briefly, blood with reduced oxygen level enters the heart at the first right chamber call the right atria. It them passes into the chamber below call the right ventricle. The ventricle contracts sending blood to the lungs. At the lungs, blood is replenished with oxygen. Oxygen rich blood then enters the heart (coming from the lungs) into the top left chamber call the left atria. It them passes down into the chamber below call the left ventricle. The left ventricle is the largest of all the chambers and contracts the strongest. This is because it is the job of the left ventricle to pump blood to the entire body.

I hope that my little description in combination with pictures which you will find on the web will make it clear to you.

      Loan
