• Question: When does the heart begin to beat?

      Hi @Charlio,
      Thank you for your interesting question. The heart begins to form shortly after conception of a baby – normally after 2 weeks. The heart tends to start beating and dividing into chambers which we recognise as the heart, 5-6 weeks after conception. This is totally amazing to me!
