Question: Why are you a scientist if your favourite subject was english

I like being able to communicate clearly, quickly, and to the exact length required. My training in school — not just in English class but also on the debate team and school newspaper — was some of my best preparation for my career, which involves frequent talks to scientific audiences, writing manuscripts, writing applications for funding, and writing reviews of others’ work. I write every day, and need to read others’ research papers very closely.
