      Hi aleextrives,

      Thanks for yout question! The carotid artery is the artery in your neck (you can actually feel it pulsating very easily) that gets the blood to your brain. The same way a coronary artery (the one that gives blood to the heart), you can get an atheroma plaque or a block in this arteries and then the brain doesn’t ger enough oxygen through the blood.
