• Question: There's more people in your family that studied science at university ?

      Hi Vatore,

      Thanks for your question!
      In my case I am the first scientist. My dad is an engineer and also researches and teaches in uni, so a little bit related but he did not study a scientific career as such. We often argue because the way we do research is very different actually!

      Just one in my case. My father was a dentist and my mother a stay-at-home mum who was a passionate reader of novels, biographies, and history. My uncles were shopkeepers, a lawyer, and an engineer. My cousins were mainly doctors. But, I did have one cousin who was a scientist, in California. Even though I did not meet him for years, I was fascinated by this as a child!
