• Question: Would you recommend taking languages and science?

      Dear Sophie,
      I would definitely say that taking a language with any subject will be advantages to you. I wished I had followed up my French or Spanish or German. Now I am very envious of people who can speak other languages. I am always telling my daughter to focus in her language class. The advantages of knowing another language may not be obvious to you now but it will open up opportunities for you later. For example, if you are bored of living and working in UK, you can go and work in another country. In science, you can travel the world with work on conferences and live in countries where your heart fancies. Also, when you travel on holiday, you will be confident and gain so much more than an ordinary tourist.

      The ability to speak another language demonstrates intellect and you will gain respect for that.

      Definitely choose a language if you are able to.
