      In my case, many of the details of cell function that I study in the heart take many lessons from the cancer field. Except there, cells don’t die, and grow too much, whereas the opposite is true for the heart. So, although I focus on the heart, I need to be alert to advances in knowledge in other fields, especially cancer biology and stem cell biology.
