He was my first teacher and used to explain me the different systems in the body and how these work. One day he was explaining to me about heart, heart chambers and how blood flows into the heart and gets pumped out of the heart. He also explained to me why we should have a constant circulation of blood and how hard our heart work to keep us alive. I was so curious to know several things, like what helps heart to maintain it’s action, what’s damaging it’s function etc. He didn’t have answer to everything and this was the time I think when I was first ever interested in finding answers to questions, which we call research. Oh by the way, I am not a clinical but a genetics scientist.
