      Hi, The answer is quite simple. Follow what’s of interest to you. Try to understand each and everything related to that and meet the right people who can guide you. For example, if you are interested in being a scientist, identify the field of research that you are interested, like cancer, cardiovascular, neuroscience etc. Then look at people who have published research in this area. Understand what’s involved in doing that research, like programming, statistics, knowledge of genetics etc. Then make sure that you master one of these skills and learn the rest. This will put you in a great position to apply for jobs in research where you can clearly demonstrate one skills and aptitude to learn other skills.
