Hi, I like your question so i will try and answer it the best i can.
Your heart rate depends on many factors.
1. When you run, your heart beats faster compared to when you are resting.
2. An infant’s heart rate is different to an adult’s heart rate.
3. The heart rate of an adult who exercise regularly will again differ from one who does little exercise.
I am 30+ age adult, my heart rate is 77 bpm (I do little exercise), that’s a staggering 4620 beats per hour (77 x 60). Which means in 24 hours my heart would have beat 110880 times and it needs to do this for the rest of my life! Well I certainly hope so.
Generally, a lower heart rate indicates better fitness. Athletes can have heart rate as low as 40 beats per min.
I hope i have answered your question. Keep asking, it is the best way to learn.
