• Question: if pixels aren't LED lights what are they?

      Hi @944hrtd24,
      Thank you for your question. I’m not an expert in technology but, a pixel is a small area (either round or square) of colour illumination on a display screen (computer display or computer image). They are also known as ‘picture elements’ and they make up an image like the images we see in digital pictures or on our televisions. An LED is different because it is a light-emitting diode which glows when electricity is passed through it and they are used in the displays of digital clocks and microwave ovens.
