I think what I like the most is the feeling of the unknown, when we test things and don’t know what the answer is going to be. It is exciting! When sometimes you realise that you are the first person that has seen whatever it is that you are researching (even if it is just a small experiment).

I love to find out new things about diseases and health. Most of the time when I start an experiment, I can predict what the answer might be because I have work from other scientists or information available in textbooks but, sometimes it can be the complete opposite to what I initially predicted and this is extremely exciting. I could discover something amazing and would be the first person to see it, even if its small and, this helps us to move science research forward.
